Maria Medal is a Certified Nurse Midwife and Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner. She is part of the team at West Kendall OBGYN and strives to provide the highest quality of care in the communities of Kendall and West Kendall in Miami and Doral, Florida.
Maria graduated with honors from Florida International University in 2012 with her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. She then worked for over seven years as a nurse in labor and delivery, postpartum, and gynecology. She then went on to receive her Master’s degree from the University of Florida. She is board certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board. She is also a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives.
Maria is very passionate about the care she provides patients through their prenatal, labor, and postpartum periods. Breastfeeding promotion and assistance are of particular interest to her. As a healthcare provider, she firmly believes every patient should receive supportive and safe care.
