Maricel Perez Torres, CNM, is a certified nurse-midwife on the team of highly skilled providers at West Kendall OBGYN. She brings a deep knowledge and a caring bedside manner to her patient care at the practice’s offices in Kendall and West Kendall in Miami and Doral, Florida.
Maricel was born in Cuba, moved to the United States in 2005, and became a registered nurse in 2010. She earned a Master of Science degree in nursing and a certification as a nurse midwife from Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, Kentucky.
Maricel spent five years working in a high-risk labor and delivery unit in Miami, where she developed a strong skill set in difficult deliveries and learned how to work well under pressure. She is incredibly committed to providing high-quality care to women throughout every stage of their lives. She truly enjoys working with patients over the years and seeing how their long-term health can lead to great long-term happiness.
