Warning Signs of Possible Complications
Certain signs, at any stage of the pregnancy, should be reported right away to your healthcare provider.
Warning signs to report:
- Can’t keep any food down
- Abdominal pain
- Cramping or contractions
- Bleeding or leaking fluid
- After 28 weeks – can’t feel your baby move or feel less movements than before
- Constant headache that does not improve
- Feeling dizzy, faint or lightheaded
- Swelling of your hands, feet and/or face
- Fever
- Pain when you urinate
- Feel very worried or that something is just not right
